On the website https://www.constructing-sustainable-future.com/, we have undertaken structural changes aimed at aligning our pages with this initiative to reduce their carbon footprint.

This has been achieved through several stages and different approaches:

Enabling a dark mode, which is more energy-efficient.

• Reducing the number of elements composing the structure of our web pages;
• Optimizing fonts;
• Reducing the number of steps required to navigate from one point to another;
• Optimizing network requests;
• Reducing the use of JavaScript;
• Optimizing the management of our CMS, the tool that distributes our pages;
• No videos hosted directly on our servers;

These works have positive impacts on the time spent on our site, the bandwidth used for navigation, server storage… as well as its accessibility.
